03 Product Features
The Qure Shower Filter’s multi-layer filtration system removes up to 99% of chlorine, heavy metals, and impurities commonly found in municipal water, including chemicals and sediments. This ensures cleaner, gentler water for skin and hair, helping to prevent dryness, irritation, and frizz for a more pleasant shower experience. The filter has a lifespan of approximately 5000 liters (~3 months) before replacement is recommended.
Filter layers:
1. Carbon Fiber Layer:
Removes up to 99% of chlorine,
reducing skin irritation and dryness for healthier skin and
hair.
2. KDF-55 Layer:
Targets and reduces heavy metals like
lead and mercury, while also inhibiting bacterial growth for
cleaner, safer water.
3. FOF (Filter of Future) Layer:
Aids in descaling by
reducing hard water minerals such as calcium and magnesium,
helping to prevent scale buildup.
These layers work together to provide purified, high-quality water, enhancing shower comfort while preserving the performance of your shower filter.

05 Shower Head Compatibility
The Qure Shower Filter is compatible with most standard shower systems that feature screw-on shower heads.
Not compatible with showers that have built-in or custom fittings that do not feature standard threads.
06 Installation Instructions
Remove your old shower head and clean the pipe. The Qure Shower Filter includes a pre-installed 2.5 GPM restrictor.
For states with stricter flow requirements (1.8–2.0 GPM), such as California and New York, replace it with the included 1.8 GPM restrictor. Check local regulations to ensure compliance.
To replace the 2.5 GPM flow restrictor with the 1.8 GPM restrictor, take a precision screwdriver or a chopstick. Insert it into the inside of the showerhead neck and apply firm pressure to push the flow restrictor out from the ball joint.
Once removed, insert the 1.8 GPM restrictor into place if required by local regulations.
Use the provided wrench or your hands to unscrew the old shower head by turning it counterclockwise. Discard the old head or keep it for future use.
Inspect the neck of the Qure Shower Filter to ensure the filter is properly installed. The filter is already placed inside for convenience, but double-checking will help prevent issues.
Use the plumber tape provided in the Qure Shower Filter kit. Wrap it around the pipe threads where the new shower head will attach. Wrap it twice to ensure a watertight seal, then tear the tape.
Twist the Qure Shower Filter onto the prepared pipe until it’s securely fastened. Use the wrench to ensure it is tightly secured, but avoid over-tightening.
Turn on the water and check for any leaks. If no leaks are present, you’re ready to enjoy your new, purified shower experience.

07 Usage and Filter Replacement

Use for every shower to enjoy purified water. - Lifespan:
Lasts about 5000 liters or 3 months, depending on water quality. - Continuous Filtration:
Water is always filtered; no need to switch modes.
Not compatible with showers that have built-in or custom fittings that do not feature standard threads.
Ensure that the water is completely off before removing the old filter.
Twist open the filter housing by turning it counterclockwise, and carefully remove the old filter cartridge from inside the shower head.
Unwrap the new filter cartridge, insert it into the filter housing, and screw the cover back on by turning it clockwise until securely tightened.
After installation, turn on the water and allow it to run for 2–3 minutes to flush out any initial carbon particles and ensure the new filter is functioning properly.

08 Maintenance
Wipe the Qure Shower Filter exterior with a damp cloth to remove soap scum or mineral buildup. Avoid abrasive cleaners or corrosive chemicals to prevent surface damage.
Inspect regularly and follow maintenance guidelines. Contact Qure customer support if issues arise.
09 Common Problems & Solutions
Check that the shower head is tightly secured, and plumber
tape
is correctly applied.
Solution: Add more tape if needed.
Likely a clogged filter.
Solution: Replace the cartridge.
Solution: Replace the filter if pressure is reduced.
Solution: Replace the filter if water has an unusual smell, then flush by running water.
10 Warranty Information
We offer a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser, covering defects in materials and workmanship.
This warranty does not cover misuse, improper care, foreign objects, the filter cartridge, or issues arising from unauthorized components (e.g., malfunctions, reduced performance, or property damage).
